Laurie-Ann Saggus
Laurie-anne Saggus has always been a leader - since her role as School Captain at Bundamba Secondary College to the roles she has had in promoting youth activities as part of the "go ahead" teams at the University of Southern Queensland.
Her partnerships with Kambu Health and with community organisations have reaped the benefit for many Indigenous youth.
Cassandra Grant
Cassandra is a descendent of the Jawoyn and Gurrinji peoples on her father's side and the Pagalaka peoples on her mother's side.
She works as a Prep Teacher at Goodna state School. Her previous roles with the Department of Education include working with schools and Early Childhood Kindergartens on building partnerships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and communities.
