Dervla McTiernan was born in Ireland and now lives with her family in Western Australia, where she works for the Mental Health Commission.
The Rúin is her first novel.

Christina Lee
Christina Lee is a sometime crime writer and frequent crime reader. She has twice won the Australian Sisters in Crime Scarlet Stiletto Award for women’s crime fiction, and is now on the judging panel. In the 1990s, she co-wrote and published two crime novels set in the grim surroundings of academia in Melbourne. Quite a few people read them, but her day job has left limited time for writing since. Just as well there's time for reading.
