About The Juliet Code by Christine Wells
It’s 1947 and the war is over, but Juliet Barnard is still tormented by secrets. She was a British agent and wireless operator in occupied Paris until her mission went critically wrong. Juliet was caught by the Germans, imprisoned and tortured in a mansion in Paris’s Avenue Foch.
Now that she’s home, Juliet can’t – or won’t – relive the horrors that occurred in that place. Nor will she speak about Sturmbannführer Strasser, the manipulative Nazi who held her captive. . .
Haunted by the guilt of betrayal, the last thing Juliet wants is to return to Paris. But when Mac, an SAS officer turned Nazi-hunter, demands her help searching for his sister, Denise, she can’t refuse. Denise and Juliet trained together before being dropped behind enemy lines. Unlike Juliet, Denise never made it home. Certain Strasser is the key to discovering what happened to his sister, Mac is determined to find answers – but will the truth destroy Juliet?
About The Love That I Have by James Moloney
Margot Baumann hasleft school to take up her sister's job in the mailroom of a large prison. Butthis is Germany in 1944, and the prison is Sachsenhausen concentration campnear Berlin.
Margot is shielded fromthe camp's brutality as she has no contact with prisoners. But shedoes handle their mail and, when given a cigarette lighter and told to burn theletters, she is horrified by the callous act she must carry out with her ownhands. This is especially painful since her brother was taken prisoner atStalingrad and her family have had no letters from him. So Margot steals a fewletters, intending to send them in secret, only to find herself drawn to theirheart-rending words of hope, of despair, and of love.
This is how Margot comesto know Dieter Kleinschmidt - through the beauty and the passion of his lettersto his girlfriend.
And since his girlfriend is also named Margot, it is like reading love letters written for her.

Christine Wells
Christine Wells is a former corporate lawyer who exchanged contracts and prospectuses for a different kind of fiction.
Undergoing life-saving brain surgery as a 2 year old made her want to be a brain surgeon when she grew up. However, a love of the humanities, particularly English history and literature, not to mention the fact she wasn’t great with blood, made her revise that plan.
Christine had always been interested in the law and after winning a half-scholarship to Bond University in a high school moot competition, she decided to follow in her father’s footsteps and become a solicitor. Having completed her Bachelor’s degree, Christine worked for city law firms advising on capital raising and mergers and acquisitions.
While still working as a lawyer, she started her first novel, a historical murder mystery which is now (thankfully) lost in the bowels of a defunct hard drive. Eventually, Christine set her sights on publication in the United States, where it seemed British-set historical romance was highly popular. A keen devotee of Georgette Heyer novels, Christine decided to give these a try.
Ten years later, she is an award-winning author with ten novels published by major New York publishers, St. Martin’s Press and Penguin. These novels have been translated (variously) into German, Japanese, Dutch, Spanish, Russian and Portuguese.
Now, a change in direction sees Christine combining her abiding interest in the law and her passion for English history in her novels, The Wife's Tale and The Traitor's Girl.
