Sam Twyford-Moore is the author The Rapids: Ways of Looking at Mania and the founding host of The Rereaders, a fortnightly literary and cultural podcast.
From 2012 until 2015, he was the Festival Director and CEO of the Emerging Writers’ Festival.
Kate Wild
Kate Wild is an investigative journalist whose work with distinguished teams at the ABC has been recognised with three Walkley Awards and a Logie. Her reports from Darwin, where she lived from 2010 to 2016, laid the groundwork for a Four Corners story on juvenile detention that prompted the calling of a Royal Commission.
Kate Wild's consistent coverage of abuse within the Northern Territory juvenile detention system laid the groundwork for a 2016 Four Corners program that sparked the establishment of the Royal Commission into the Protection and Detention of Children in the Northern Territory.
Like Elijah Holcombe, Kate grew up in country New South Wales; she now lives and works in Sydney. Waiting for Elijah is her first book.

Lisa Kunde
Lisa Kunde is a registered psychologist and researcher with an interest in addiction and suicide prevention. Lisa has a background in music, playing and singing in 90’s Brisbane grunge band, Gravelrash. She continues to be actively involved in local music and the arts with an interest in assisting people in the entertainment industry in mental health. Lisa became interested in psychology, following the death of her brother who struggled with schizophrenia and addiction. Lisa is currently working as a psychologist with LGBTIQAP+ Sistergirl and Brotherboy young people as part of the National Suicide Prevention Trial in Brisbane.
She contributed to Jenny Valentish’s book, Women of Substances and has co-authored research papers on farmer suicide and bereavement following suicide.
