Nick Earls
Nick Earls is the author of twenty-six books for adults, teenagers and children. His novels have won awards in Australia the UK and US, and appeared on bestseller lists in those countries. Five of his books have been adapted into stage plays and two, 48 Shades of Brown and Perfect Skin, into feature films.
His most recent work is the multi-award-winning novella series Wisdom Tree, described in the Sydney Morning Herald as ‘a triumphant and extraordinary piece of fiction’.
William Robinson
Robinson is one of the most successful Australian artists of his generation. In 2007, the artist was appointed an Officer of the Order of Australia for his outstanding achievements and service to the arts. In 2009, the William Robinson Gallery was opened to honour his life and work, the only gallery of its kind in Australia dedicated solely to the work of a single artist. A major retrospective was held at the gallery in 2011, alongside the release of William Robinson: The Transfigured Landscape, the first major monograph on the artist since 2001.
Robinson’s work has been the subject of more than 43 solo exhibitions and he is represented in some 33 public collections in Australia, New Zealand, the United States, and Vatican City.

Ashley Hay is a novelist and essayist whose awards include the Foundation of Australian Literary Studies’ Colin Roderick Award, the NSW Premier’s Literary Awards Peoples’ Choice, and the Bragg/UNSW Press Prize for Science Writing. Her latest novel is A Hundred Small Lessons. She is the editor of Griffith Review.
