Roland Perry is Australia’s biggest selling non-fiction author. He has produced more biographies (17) than any other writer.
The workshop will cover points about writing in general that will then be linked to biography. Professor Perry will reference works that have covered a variety of genres from sport and espionage to history, politics and war. They include a wide range of subjects from Queen Victoria and courtesan Celeste Venard, France’s leading 19th Century writer, to Don Bradman and General Sir John Monash, Australia’s greatest achiever.
Shane Warne, Steve Waugh and Mel Gibson, books written for the author’s relief, will be mentioned.
The session will conclude with Q and A.
