#About the event
Duration: 60 minutes
Invite students to embrace their artistic side as James Foley discusses how to create visual narratives in picture books and comics, revealing all the ways that illustrators place the reader to communicate their message including using line, composition, colour, typography and more.
James is an advocate for the creative process and up front about his creative journey. His talks of visual literacy, blending with examples from his books The Last Viking, In the Lion, My Dead Bunny and Brobot, are perfect for teachers looking to expand their knowledge of working with illustration and images in the classroom.
