#About the event
Duration: 60 minutes
The town of Desperance is embroiled in battle. Ancient combats as deep as the land entwine with greed-fuelled battles over what lies beneath. Here lives the spirit nest of the ancient serpent, a creature larger than storm clouds, who came down from the stars. On top of the snake’s spirit nest lies Angel’s Palace, the home of Angel Day. This immersive experience, directed by Alethea Beetson, is inspired by Alexis Wright's Miles Franklin-winning novel Carpentaria, and features original artwork by Gordon Hookey.
